Organisation for Southern Cooperation (OSC) digital visual identity

Visual identity system inspired by cultural patterns of the Greater South.

Developed a visual identity system for the Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC), designed to expand across its social media ecosystem and broader communication platforms. The goal was to create a distinct and adaptable language capable of representing the cultural diversity of the Greater South in a contemporary and cohesive way.

The process was grounded in research on traditional patterns and visual expressions found across regions of the Global South—exploring their presence in textiles, ornamentation, and visual culture, as well as their historical use of color. These elements informed the creation of a modular system that could be dynamically applied depending on content and context.

The identity integrates a typeface developed in Latin America and a flexible composition framework, allowing the organization to communicate with consistency while reflecting plurality, rhythm, and cultural depth across its visual outputs.
