Book: A Letter from the Greater South
Editorial and visual direction for the book “A Letter from the Greater South. Notes Amidst Global Disorder” by Manssour Bin Mussallam.

Served as editor, art director, and communications advisor for the first publication of the Secretary-General of the Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC), Manssour Bin Mussallam. The project involved developing a visual and editorial approach capable of supporting the conceptual depth of the content while maintaining clarity and readability.
The cover design was built around a symbol created by Manssour Bin Mussallam to represent the idea of a “Third Way of Development.” Using this element as the visual and conceptual centerpiece, I developed an art direction that positioned it at the core of the publication’s identity through textures, contrast, and compositions responsive to the book’s political and cultural context.
Designed the overall visual language of the book and contributed to its communication strategy for a bilingual digital release. The process required close collaboration with the author and contributors to harmonise the narrative, design and positioning, with the aim of achieving a coherent and contemporary final product.
